Luzerne County Adds New Staff Member to Boost MPO

Tanis Manseau joined the Lackawanna/Luzerne MPO as a Transportation Planner for the Luzerne County Planning and Zoning Department. Tanis earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Citadel and is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in both South Carolina and Pennsylvania, an International Code Council Certified Building Official (CBO), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP), and Association of Energy Engineers Certified Energy Manager (CBO). He is a native of Charleston, South Carolina and his 39 year professional career includes developing and implementing master plans, facilities management, long term capital planning, and construction management for both the private and public sector.

Tanis looks forward to working with all members of the Lackawanna/Luzerne MPO to address the many transportation planning needs of the region and diligently strive to identify funding sources for the capital transportation needs. His ultimate goal is to provide a safe and reliable transportation system for all stake-holders.
